IRN is pleased to bring you the 3rd Annual Energy Trading Regulations & Compliance 2013 Summit 19th - 20th March, Millennium Hotel London Mayfair
The 3rd Annual Energy Trading Regulations & Compliance Summit is back, and it is taking place next year on the 19th - 20th March in London. The summit continues to provide a fundamental platform to address the uncertainty and industry response around the restrictive nature of the latest regulatory provisions. We continue to bring you the latest updates around REMIT, EMIR, MiFID II and Dodd Frank from the key energy regulators, as well as industry responses from energy companies and energy trading banks from across the industry.
ETRC 2013 is built on a strong reputation that continues to connect market participants from across the industry. Following the success of the ETRC Summit in the previous years, where we have welcomed over 120 senior level delegates; IRN continues to draw the right audience, senior level speakers to discuss the most pressing regulatory issues. This year we are pleased to bring you an even stronger forum to continue last’s year’s discussions and gauge the progress since.
Energy regulators, energy companies and energy trading banks have in the past two years witnessed a string of regulatory changes. As the compliance frameworks become stricter each year, with more technical and complicated layering of the regulatory outlines, companies have had to respond efficiently and effectively to all the latest regulatory demands. Thus ETRC 2013 takes place at a crucial time, the summit will cover regulatory decision making, bringing you up-to-date with the rules set out by the European Commission, European Parliament and European Counsel.
ETRC 2013 will cover the most pressing issues around implementation requirements, deadlines and challenges faced so far:
The Summit will focus on EMIR’s latest technical standards, as they will aim to increase transparency and reduce the risks associated with the OTC derivatives market, presentations will focus on how the changes will impact on your company’s compliance and business model
The latest around REMIT’s 2nd level rules will be discussed in particular how companies have responded to the threshold on inside information and issues concerning the disclosure of inside information
There will be a focus on updates around MiFID II, as companies are well aware; from 2015 MiFID II is expected to become law. The Summit will focus on what this will mean for your company’s business model and how it will affect market liquidity
The Summit will also focus on the latest developments around the Dodd Frank Act, CFTC’s ruling, and the important link and dependency the DFA has with EU regulations
