Biografie | From 2000 until 2008 Richard, a British national, was working for Boyer Allan Investment Management Ltd. as a Fund Manager. Working closely his co-Fund Manager, Alexander Griffin, he managed the Boyer Allan Japan Fund. At its peak the Fund had approximately US$860million of assets under management and in 2003 won AsiaHedge’s Award for ‘Best Fund in Asia’ and ‘Best Fund in Japan’. Prior to working at Boyer Allan, Richard worked for Jardine Fleming from 1990 until 2000. He was appointed Fund Manager of their Japan Fund, the Japan Trust in 1995. Richard was later appointed Manager of their Jardine Fleming Technology Funds, including Japan Technology, Pacific Technology and Eastern Technology. Richard’s formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from London University and a post-graduate in Politics and Economics from Kobe University in Japan. |
