He joined Columbia Threadneedle Investments in 2007 as a senior quantitative analyst covering Non-Agency RMBS, was promoted to portfolio manager in 2008, and head of structured assets in 2009 . Mr. Callan assumed multi-sector portfolio management responsibilities in 2016 and became lead portfolio manager on Core and Core Plus strategies in 2017. Mr. Callan is also a co-portfolio manager on the Strategic Income portfolio and a member of the Global Fixed Income Asset Allocation Committee. Previously, Mr. Callan worked at GMAC in their Principal Investments unit as a portfolio manager and an analyst. He has been a member of the investment community, specializing in structured assets, since 2003. Mr. Callan received a B.S. in Economics from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management

As the leader of the US Fixed Income team, his responsibilities include chairing the core strategy team (which sets portfolio risk allocations) and acting as lead portfolio manager for a number of strategies. Mr. Pappo previously worked at Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where he was head of the core fixed-income team; earlier at the firm, he led the credit team and the investment grade research team. Before that, Mr. Pappo worked at Fleet Investment Advisors where he managed taxable fixed-income funds and institutional portfolios. He began his career as a corporate bond trader. Mr. Pappo has a B.S. in accounting from Babson College. He is a CFA charterholder.

Biografie Mr. Zazzarino is a senior portfolio manager and a director with Allianz Global Investors, which he joined in 2017. He has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Lafayette College and an M.B.A. in finance from Columbia Business School.

He joined Columbia Management in 2007 and has been a member of the investment community since 1980. Previously, Mr. Powers was managing director and head of fixed-income for U.S. Trust, responsible for fixed-income strategies, as well as all fixed-income trading and research at the firm. In addition, Mr. Powers was a portfolio manager and a member of U.S. Trust’s investment strategy and investment policy committees. Prior to joining U.S. Trust, he was head of taxable fixed-income at Chase Asset Management. Previously, Mr. Powers was a senior portfolio manager at Liberty Capital Management, an institutional fixed-income advisory firm. He began his career at Gabelli Company. Mr. Powers has taught at the New York Institute of Finance, where he offered a course in yield-curve analysis. Mr. Powers received his B.A., cum laude, from Boston College and his MBA from New York University’s Stern Graduate School of Business Administration.

Biografie Cyril M. Theccanat is President and Chief Investment Officer of Smith Graham & Company. At Smith Graham, Cyril is directly responsible for the management and oversight of the investment teams that manage nearly $6 billion in global fixed income and equity portfolios for institutional clients. Prior to joining Smith Graham, Cyril was a Managing Director and Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager with U.S. Trust Company in New York. He was directly responsible for managing $2.4 billion in the Institutional Fixed Income Division. Prior to U.S. Trust, Cyril was a Vice President at Drexel Burnham Lambert where he was responsible for foreign exchange risk and interest rate risk management. Earlier in his career, Cyril was a senior consultant with Chase Econometrics where he developed a variety of econometric-based models including multivariate regression and time-series models for clients in the financial, technology, utility and consumer goods industries. Cyril is a speaker on investment management topics at national conferences such as the National Association of State Treasurers annual conference and IMN’s Annual Fixed Income Summit. He has also written articles for publications such as Pensions&Investments. Cyril received his MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
