Der Subfonds investiert nach dem Grundsatz der Risikostreuung hauptsächlich in Aktien, anderen Kapitalanteilen wie etwa Genossenschaftsanteilen und Partizipationsscheinen, kurzfristigen Wertpapieren, Genussscheinen und Optionszertifikaten von Gesellschaften, die ihren Sitz in Hong Kong haben oder den überwiegenden Anteil ihrer wirtschaftlichen Aktivität in Hong Kong ausüben. Der Subfonds darf bis zu 30% seines Vermögens in auf verschiedene Währungen lautenden Obligationen und anderen Forderungspapieren und Forderungsrechten von in- und ausländischen Emittenten sowie in Aktien, anderen Kapitalanteilen wie etwa Genossenschaftsanteilen und Partizipationsscheinen, kurzfristigen Wertpapieren, Genussscheinen und Optionszertifikaten investieren, die den obigen Beschränkungen bezüglich geographischen Raum und Wirtschaftszweig nicht genügen. Über das Programm Shanghai / Shenzhen-Hong Kong Connect kann der Subfonds bis zu 20% in chinesische Onshore-Aktien investieren.

Biografie | Projit Chatterjee is a Senior Equity Specialist within the Global Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific Equities team at UBS Asset Management, based in Singapore. Projit has primary responsibility for overall product positioning and development of Emerging Markets and Asian Equity strategies, as well as marketing and communication of these strategies to existing and prospective clients globally. Projit joined UBS in 1997 as a Corporate Finance Analyst with UBS Investment Bank in Mumbai, India. In 1999, he moved to UBS Asset Management in Zurich to work in Strategic Projects, International Fund Marketing.
