leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of innovative surfacing
products for commercial and residential applications, has expanded their
utilization of EasyLink's EDI Managed Services to include the EMEA (Europe,
Middle East and Africa) region.
While Formica Group has been utilizing EasyLink for EDI Managed Services in the
United States, the Formica Group United States technical staff was supporting
European locations with in-line translation and mapping activities. To
establish consistent EDI services for Europe over a secure, world-class VAN and
enable its technical resources to focus on other business initiatives, Formica
Group expanded EasyLink's outsourced supply chain services to include all
mapping and translation services for the EMEA region.
'Leveraging EasyLink's B2B services reduces the time it takes to enable
electronic trading with new customers, and greatly reduces the operating
expenses associated with doing our own internal mapping,' said Philip Catlin,
