Mobile Loyalty PLC raises SEK 10 million in new capital.
Malmö/Frankfurt/London, 11 April, 2012. Mobile Loyalty recently received an
expression of interest from a number of international investors about
investing in the company. The Board has decided on a private placement of
SEK 10 million at a share price of SEK 2,00 per share.
We recently received a request from a small group of primarily
international investors who were interested in investing in the company,
says Nicklas Gerhardsson, CEO, Mobile Loyalty. Four international investors
invest a total of SEK 8 million at a share price of SEK 2,00 per share.
Concurrently, Sterner de la Mau, Chairman and founder, purchases shares for
SEK 2 million on the same terms. However, his investment is subject to the
approval by the Annual General Meeting on May 31, 2011. In total, the Group
raises SEK 10 million and issues 5 million new shares in accordance with
the authorization by the General Meeting in 2011. The total number of
shares after this issue amounts to 43 360 034 shares.
We are realizing an increasingly stronger interest from the capital markets
as well as from our customers regarding our mobile advertising solutions,
which was most recently manifested by our agreement with the TV4 Group.
Through this private placement, we have the opportunity to increase the
speed of our market investments. The market for mobile advertising has
started to accelerate in earnest, says Nicklas Gerhardsson.
